SESQUICENTENNIAL STEERING COMMITTEE
The Youngsville Sesquicentennial Steering Committee is tasked with the responsibility of considering and making recommendations to the Town Board of Commissioners on the activities and events for the Sesquicentennial Celebration. The Town of Youngsville, originally known as Pacific, was incorporated on March 17, 1875. It was named for John “Jack” Young after he gave land for a depot. In 2025, The Town of Youngsville will celebrate its 150th anniversary.
The Committee meets the 2nd Friday of each month, at 10:00am, at the Youngsville Town Hall. These are public meetings and all members of the community are welcome to attend.
